Sadler Mausoleum Restoration
The Glen Cove Heritage Foundation is pleased to highlight the restoration of the Sadler mausoleum.
Sitting prominently by the fountain, the Sadler mausoleum has been cleaned and restored. It is now gleaming - a true beacon for our cemetery and our town.
Chris Hensley and the team from Crown Hill did beautiful work - thank you for your partnership and dedication to completing this project. We could not have done it without you!
Please enjoy a before and after gallery below and be sure to visit the cemetery to see for yourself.

Sadler mausoleum pre=restoration. Age and the elements lead to serious staining and overall structural decline.

The mausoleum post-restoration! All the stone was cleaned or replaced, the planters were emptied and re-secured, and the carving and engraving details were refreshed for greater visibility.

Pre-restoration planter - part of a matched set on the walkway to the mausoleum.

Emptied, cleaned, and ready for new life!

The elements took a heavy toll on the stone of the mausoleum. All sides were stained or damaged, and a lot of the details were lost.

A favorite detail - a small window on the back! Every nook and cranny of the stone is shining!
